I made a variation on this tonight, and it was delicious: http://globaltableadventure.com/recipe/green-bean-soup-bouneschlupp/

It tasted as good as it looks, too.

The Netherlands,  Belgium and Luxemburg are quite close in distance.

The key differences are that Luxemburg is veered toward a more elegant and stellar style of cuisine. Very beautiful but high cost of living.

Belgium, of course, depending which región, is similar to northern French in style.

I've got a lot of Dutch heritage. Also Irish, which may explain why I like things like colcannon and stampot so much. :)

Melissa,

You should take a look at the amazing  récipes (they are quite old .. 2013 more or less ) of Chris. He has alot of amazing récipes. He is Flemish if I am not mistaken .. Chris of Flanders, is possibly how he called himself here on Fotw.

If you have problems finding his récipes, I am sure  Historic Foodie and Dave Houser could assist you.

These récipes should be located in The section of the Netherlands.  I believe he is a native of this región, Flemish and Dutch border ..

Have a lovely Sunday.

You are welcome Melissa.
